  • Beginning Tennis Class (Saturdays) - Ages 6-8

    Skyhawks weekly tennis focuses on skill refinement as well as practice and match play to develop consistent, well-rounded tennis players. Players learn proper grips, footwork, strokes, volleys and serves during a series of drills designed to teach skills in a fun and dynamic way. In addition to developing a love for tennis, athletes will learn the rules and etiquette that make tennis an exciting game to play.   • Canton Soccer Club Skills Series - Ages 5-8

    Soccer enthusiasts from all ages and soccer backgrounds will learn ball control, skill set building and other soccer ideas. Our goal is to foster a love for the game. Classes will have skills and drills as well as scrimmage play. Skills taught: dribbling, passing and receiving, shooting and overall ball control. Staff coaches possess extensive player management, have competed at a high level of soccer and enjoy working with youth soccer players of all ages. Welcoming all novice, intermediate and advanced soccer players. T-shirt included. This class takes place outdoors. Please bring a labeled size 4 soccer ball. Shin guards are recommended; soccer cleats encouraged. Restrooms may not be available in the evening hours. Please bring a full water bottle to each class. *For Ages 8-12 please register for course #156B.

  • Junior Advanced Golf Techniques – (Intermediate)

    This course is designed for the more advanced / intermediate Junior golfer ONLY! Those new to golf or with less than 2 years of playing experience must attend and complete one Jr. Pin Seekers Clinic. This Class is held for two consecutive days and includes supervised play time on the golf course. Instructional handout and range balls are included. DAY ONE - class is a total of 2 hours. Putting skills, reading the greens & chipping tips, learn how to "dial in" & be more precise and get consistent backspin with your wedges. DAY TWO - class is held for two hours with a 30–45-minute break for lunch and concludes with 1 hour of supervised play on the golf course, based on course availability. We'll focus on the irons, woods/hybrids, and driver skills.
  • Junior Pin Seekers Golf 2 - Ages 13-17

    This class is for junior players of all skill levels. Class is held for two consecutive days: DAY ONE - class is a total of 2 hours. Please arrive 15 minutes early. DAY TWO - class is held for 2.5 hours followed by 1 hour of supervised play on the golf course with instructor. Based on course availability and a 30-45 minute break for lunch. Please plan on additional time so you children can participate. Instruction includes proper golf etiquette, practice drills, games and fun training tools in each phase of learning, plus playing time on the golf course Students are encouraged to bring their own clubs. Loaner Clubs may be available upon request. Please contact us a few days before the first class at 734-788-7228, to reserve clubs for your child(ren). NOTE: We would greatly appreciate it if you could arrive 10-15 minutes early for the first class. Please be sure your child arrives prepared for weather conditions. We strongly suggest a bottle of water, a light jacket, sunscreen, sunglasses, hat/cap. Your child/children must be in appropriate attire - NO short-shorts, flip-flops, or tank tops.   • Karate for Families

    The cost is PER FAMILY. *Please register only one adult family member. Up to 2 additional family members ages 5 & up per transaction may attend. If you have two adults in the same family that would like to join, one would sign up for #645A for Adults and Teens ($43). Physical techniques will be instructed along with drills and exercises, to help you have a positive experience with your self-defense education. Sanchin-Ryu will teach you how to use your whole body, so size and stature are not an issue! An ongoing course, where students have the opportunity to continue their education! Optional uniforms are available. Due to the physical nature of our programs, students with auditory or kinesthetic sensitivities should have an attendant/parent present. If class is full at registration, please leave your name on the waitlist. We will contact you if additional spots open up.   • Karate for Kids - Grades K-8

    This class combines two crucial courses into one, Sanchin-Ryu Karate & Self-Defense and Project: Secure Child (child safety). Train with age-appropriate techniques that are necessary for kids to protect themselves from attackers. Program is set in a fun, yet structured, environment that will give your child a positive outlook on learning a martial art. Students will achieve self-confidence and leadership through physical techniques, mental strategies, drills and exercises. An ongoing course, students have the opportunity to continue their education! Optional uniforms are available. Due to the physical nature of our programs, students with auditory or kinesthetic sensitivities should have an attendant/parent present.   • Little Linksters Golf - Ages 5-8

    This is a 1-Hour course each day for 3 Consecutive days. We provide ALL golf learning equipment; golf clubs and safety balls for all 3 sessions. Your child will learn the fundamentals of the game, outside, in a safe environment using fun, colorful training tools. This course includes lessons on putting, chipping, pitching and full swing. Hula hoops are used for warming up and to help with the proper set-up. Please do not bring golf clubs to class. All equipment will be provided for your child. Please be sure your child arrives ready for weather conditions. We strongly suggest a water bottle, a light jacket, sunscreen, sunglasses, hat/cap.

    This 6-week class is for a parent & child. *Parent Participation Required* SoccerTots is our flagship program! Playable on almost any surface, these soccer-themed motor skill classes are very easy for youngsters to get into. Younger age groups focus on developing motor skills and self-confidence; older classes focus more on developing core soccer skills and personal focus, and introduce an element of light competition. Instructor-to-student ratio is kept small to maximize individual development, and above all else we promote fun, fun, fun!
