  • Gentle Flow Yoga • 8-WEEKS

    Gentle Yoga incorporates poses to help manage stress, calm anxiety, increase flexibility and muscle strength, improve focus and balance, and burn calories. These are just a few of the many benefits of gentle yoga! This class will start with a stretching warm up and move into a series of gentle yoga poses. The goal of Gentle Flow Yoga is for the Yogi to leave the class feeling better than they did when they walked in. Suitable for all levels. Yogi’s are encouraged to work at their own pace. Each class will build upon itself and introduce new poses. All levels are welcome! Please bring a water bottle, a mat, and wear comfortable clothing.
  • Get Golf Ready - Level 1 (Beginner)

    For the new golfer with little or no experience and players looking for a refresher course in the fundamentals of the game. Course runs 2 Hrs., Once a week for 2 Consecutive weeks, last class concludes with playing experience on the golf course. Learn the basic fundamentals of putting, chipping, pitching, full swing and basic etiquette of the game. Instructional handouts and practice balls are included. "Loaner Clubs" MAY be available upon request. Last class includes time on the golf course with your instructor,(s) based on course availability, so please plan on an additional time for the last class if you're able to participate. Loaner Clubs may be available upon request - Please contact us prior to your first class at 734-788-7228 if you need clubs to reserve a set. Week 1 - Introduction, putting & chipping, etiquette on the green and pitching. Equipment needed: putter, 8 iron & pitching wedge. Week 2 - Chipping review, irons, hybrid & driver. We would greatly appreciate it if you could arrive 10-15 minutes early for the first class, especially if you need to be fitted for loaner clubs. Please be sure to arrive prepared for class and dressed in appropriate attire – NO short-shorts, flip-flops or tank tops will be allowed.   • Gymnastics Camp - Grades K-5

    Students will be introduced to the wonderful world of gymnastics by using equipment such as balance beams, bars, trampoline, vault, octagons, wedge mats and so much more. Our classes are fun, fast moving and challenging. Our enthusiastic instructors will make each child feel special and encourage them to do their very best. Each session is non-repetitive throughout the year and filled with all new skills and drills. Comfortable clothing is all that is required.

    Serve up fun with Skyhawks Tennis! This program elevates tennis skills by focusing on the techniques of forehand, backhand, and scoring while utilizing practice sessions and match play to develop consistent, well-rounded players.     This Class is designed for all skill levels and students will be grouped according to age/experience. DAY ONE - class is a total of 2 Hours DAY TWO - class is a total of 2 Hours DAY THREE - 2 Hours of play on the golf course Life skills/etiquette of the game are taught along with easy practice drills using both games and fun training tools during each phase of learning, plus time on the golf course.   • Junior Summer Finale Golf Outing - Ages 9-17

    Here's a great opportunity for your child to put into practice the golf skills and etiquette they have learned . Let's have a great time together with the kids out on the golf course! Please consider coming out to encourage the children and assist in scoring. We will need at least one adult with each group of players in order to make this event successful. The Junior Fall Finale is open to all juniors 9-17 years of age. Check in will be at the Hickory Creek Golf Course Clubhouse starting at 12:30 PM, followed by two hours of golf from 1:30-3:30 PM.
  • Karate for Adults & Teens - 14+

    Set in a fun, non-competitive and informative atmosphere, Sanchin-Ryu program is designed to empower today's adults with knowledge that can save a life! Learn individual strikes, advanced combinations, how to get out of and counter different grabs and other attack scenarios. Use your whole body, so size and stature are not an issue. Optional uniforms available. Due to the physical nature of our programs, students with auditory or kinesthetic sensitivities should have an attendant/parent present.

    The cost is PER FAMILY. *Please register only one adult family member. Up to 2 additional family members ages 5 & up per transaction may attend. If you have two adults in the same family that would like to join, one would sign up for #645A for Adults and Teens ($43). Physical techniques will be instructed along with drills and exercises, to help you have a positive experience with your self-defense education. Sanchin-Ryu will teach you how to use your whole body, so size and stature are not an issue! An ongoing course, where students have the opportunity to continue their education! Optional uniforms are available. Due to the physical nature of our programs, students with auditory or kinesthetic sensitivities should have an attendant/parent present.     This class combines two crucial courses into one, Sanchin-Ryu Karate & Self-Defense and Project: Secure Child (child safety). Train with age-appropriate techniques that are necessary for kids to protect themselves from attackers. Program is set in a fun, yet structured, environment that will give your child a positive outlook on learning a martial art. Students will achieve self-confidence and leadership through physical techniques, mental strategies, drills and exercises. An ongoing course, students have the opportunity to continue their education! Optional uniforms are available. Due to the physical nature of our programs, students with auditory or kinesthetic sensitivities should have an attendant/parent present.     This is a 1-Hour course each day for 3 Consecutive days. We provide ALL golf learning equipment; golf clubs and safety balls for all 3 sessions. Your child will learn the fundamentals of the game, outside, in a safe environment using fun, colorful training tools. This course includes lessons on putting, chipping, pitching and full swing. Hula hoops are used for warming up and to help with the proper set-up. Please do not bring golf clubs to class. All equipment provided for your child.     Join this camp as we trick our brains through our eyes! Become immersed in the world of lasers, light, and color! Discover how laser light differs from white light as we bend & shine beams of light all around the room and dissect white light with our special specs! Witness a small indoor fireworks display to show how different metals react to heat and learn about tricks our eyes play on us by experimenting with mirrors and optical illusions! Kids will construct their own periscope to take home.
  • Mad Science: Robot Invasion - 1-Day Camp, Ages 5-12

    Explore the basic and complex technology used to design and build robots. Discover how machines and robots work and how they can make our lives so much easier! Learn about simple circuits, motor principles, and make your own Robo Hand to take home! Jr. Scientists will love experimenting with the many robots we bring along!
  • Mad Science: Science in Motion! • Grades K-5

    Discover how things move with science! Each day we'll learn about a different realm of the scientific world. We'll become a zoologist and study the exciting world of birds, including examining owl pellets to see what an owl cannot digest. Join a team of camper engineers and build bridges, domes, cubes, and pyramids. We'll even put on a lab coat and become chemists for the day and make crystal gardens. Jr. Scientists will love constructing birdhouses, completing challenging puzzles, concoct chemistry based creations and explore the many fun sides of science!
  • Margaritas on the Range - 21 years and up

    You and your friends, spouse, or any adult (MUST be 21 or over), are invited to come out to enjoy a casual golf event on the driving range at Hickory Creek Golf Club! You'll have the opportunity to relax, meet some new friends AND get some tips from the Golf Pro to help you with your game! We'll be starting with a half hour of social time, including Margarita's and snacks provided by Kowality Golf. Afterwards you'll warm up a bit on the driving range, learn how to become more consistent with all your shots and we'll wrap things up with a short game and driving contest! Be sure to bring all your clubs to this clinic. 3-hour clinic – One day only
