    Designed for the intermediate golfer who has basic knowledge and a minimum of 2 years playing experience who wants to take their game to the next level. This course will include a brief review of some fundamentals. Instructional handouts and range balls are provided. Course runs 1 hr and 15 mins, twice a week for 2 consecutive weeks. WEEK ONE Day 1: Includes tips on reading greens & enhanced practice strategies for short game improvement. Day 2: Focus on learning how to "dial in" & be more precise with your wedges & irons.     This fun, skill-intensive program is designed for beginning to intermediate players. Using our progression-based curriculum, we focus on the whole player - teaching sportsmanship and teamwork. Boys and girls will learn the fundamentals of passing, shooting, ball handling, rebounding and defense through skill-based instruction and small-sided scrimmages. Participants should bring a water bottle, two snacks, sunscreen (outdoor camps only) and wear appropriate athletic attire. Every child receives an award certificate and Skyhawks t-shirt.

    This program, built for the beginning player, will improve their game and help them get more enjoyment from tennis. Our tennis programs focus on skill refinement as well as practice and match play to develop consistent, well-rounded tennis players. Skyhawks staff also instill positive life skills such as respect and sportsmanship.   • Beginning Tennis Class (Saturdays) - Ages 6-8

    Skyhawks weekly tennis focuses on skill refinement as well as practice and match play to develop consistent, well-rounded tennis players. Players learn proper grips, footwork, strokes, volleys and serves during a series of drills designed to teach skills in a fun and dynamic way. In addition to developing a love for tennis, athletes will learn the rules and etiquette that make tennis an exciting game to play.     This is a basketball camp for incoming fall 2024 5th - 8th grade students. The camp will cover all the components of Canton Basketball and will have an emphasis on defense, rebounding and skill work.   • Canton High School Soccer Camp - Coed - Grades 5th -9th

    Girls and boys grades 5-9 are invited to join the Canton High School soccer program for a camp to develop individual soccer skills, understanding of the game, and teamwork. The camp will consist of skill building drills being taught by Canton High School Girls Soccer coaches. Please come with cleats, shin guards, a ball, and water. T-shirts are included. Registration closes on July 8th to guarantee a shirt.
  • Canton Soccer Club Skills Camp - Ages 6-14

    Soccer enthusiasts from all ages and soccer backgrounds will learn ball control, skill set building and other soccer ideas. Our goal is to foster a love for the game. Classes are modified into "skills and drills" only with no scrimmage play until further notice. Skills taught: dribbling, passing and receiving, shooting and overall ball control. Staff coaches possess extensive player management, have competed at a high level of soccer and enjoy working with youth soccer players of all ages.   • Cardio Drumming - 18+

    Cardio Drumming is a fun workout for all fitness levels. Time to get your inner rock star into motion. Moving and grooving to high energy music. Before you know it, you have done 6,000-8,000 steps. This class is so much fun, you don't even realize you are working out. All you will need is an exercise ball, bucket and drum sticks.   • Certified Babysitter/CPR/First Aid & Safe Home Alone - Ages 9+

    Learn to be safe and responsible. Build confidence. Have a competitive edge over other babysitters. Topics include first aid, when and how to call 911, CPR with manikin practice, choking, dealing with difficult behaviors, basic care methods like feeding and diapering, marketing and more! Students will also learn how to be safe and responsible when home alone, including the importance of not giving out personal information and what to do if somebody comes to the door. Students who successfully complete the course requirements will receive a certificate of completion for Certified Babysitter/CPR/First Aid course by Live Safe Academy (valid for two years). Please note that students must arrive on time to be certified, so please arrive up to 10 minutes early. To be certified students must participate in the entire course from beginning to end and successfully complete all skills, which requires full motor function of all four extremities. Parents, this class is for students who are independent and responsible enough to be responsible for the safety and well-being of younger children without adult supervision. Class will end between 2 PM and 3 PM depending on when students complete the course requirements. Students need a lunch, snacks, and a fully charged cell phone (if they own one). If your student does not have a cell phone, please write down the cell phone number of the person picking them up and give it to the student. Students will message their ride at lunchtime to let their ride know what time to pick them up. Pen and paper for notes is optional. No cell phone use during class except during break. No refunds or credit with less than 24-hour notice. If you need a medical exception, email Live Safe Academy at info@LiveSafeAcademy.com before class. Please check in your student at the beginning of class. Drop off and pick up is in the same room as class.
  • Certified Pet Sitter/CPR/First Aid (add-on) - Ages 9+

Topics include pet first aid, CPR, choking, and more! This is an add on class for students who participate in the Certified Babysitter/CPR/First Aid course on the same day (students of a previous Live Safe Academy Certified Babysitter/CPR/First Aid course can become a certified pet sitter by taking a live virtual class).     Creative Nature Art Camps: Students will sculpt, paint and draw various imaginative and colorful creations using a mixed media of non-toxic, kid friendly materials. Our creative camps offer a fun and unique array of classes and projects that get the imagination running wild using step by step instructions, a touch of imagination, and all materials are provided. We influence students to explore their own creative nature, share their creations with others and give compliments to each other's art. Fabulous Fashion Art Camp Students explore the colorful world of fashion design in this fun and creative mixed media camp using a variety of materials, step by step instructions and a touch of imagination. Students will plan, design and construct various fashion projects as they sculpt, paint and draw the day away. In between each project we will have a snack break and outdoor time where they will draw with chalk. All materials provided, please provide your child with a nut free snack and beverage each day.   • Gymnastics Camp - Ages 6-8

    Students will be introduced to the wonderful world of gymnastics by using equipment such as balance beams, bars, trampoline, vault, octagons, wedge mats and so much more. Our camp is fun, fast moving and challenging. Our enthusiastic instructors will make each child feel special and encourage them to do their very best. Comfortable clothing is all that is required.
  • Junior Advanced Golf Techniques – (Intermediate)

    This course is designed for the more advanced / intermediate Junior golfer ONLY! Those new to golf or with less than 2 years of playing experience must attend and complete one Jr. Pin Seekers Clinic. This Class is held for two consecutive days and includes supervised play time on the golf course. Instructional handout and range balls are included. DAY ONE - class is a total of 2 hours. Putting skills, reading the greens & chipping tips, learn how to "dial in" & be more precise and get consistent backspin with your wedges. DAY TWO - class is held for two hours with a 30–45-minute break for lunch and concludes with 1 hour of supervised play on the golf course, based on course availability. We'll focus on the irons, woods/hybrids, and driver skills.
